Our Projects

MODEL brings a fresh interpretation of the housing landscape by playing in that golden space where socially and environmentally responsible housing meet. We create spaces that not only cut down on environmental impact but also prioritise residents’ wellbeing.

With a combined development cost of $250 million across our first two projects, we are delivering 400 residences to the market, including 10% affordable units, helping meet the Victorian government’s housing goals. These residences, designed for Passivhaus Certification, built with Mass Timber Construction, and achieving a 6 Green Star Rating, will set a global standard in lowering carbon emissions..

By offering secure leases and high-quality, holistic amenities, we’re rethinking what renting means—focusing on caring for ourselves, each other, and the planet.

Lithgow St Abbotsford

Welcome to MODEL on Lithgow, our most unique project to date, located in the heart of Abbotsford, just 2.5km from Melbourne's CBD. Originally the iconic Schweppes Cordial Factory, and more recently the home of Melbourne’s James Richardson Group, this heritage-listed site, complete with its towering chimney stack, has stood as a local landmark for over 150 years.

Johnston St Abbotsford

Welcome to our inaugural project – MODEL on Johnston Street. As the city’s tallest residential mass timber building, this project isn’t just about height, it’s about raising the expectations around what it means to rent. With 200 meticulously designed studio, one, and two-bedroom residences, MODEL on Johnston offers a bold perspective, transforming not just how we live but also how we think about the future of our people and our cities.
